SetJam is an international startup functioning since June 2009, with a New York City business office and a Warsaw development office (read a TechCrunch article about us). Our goal is to make online TV easy by providing up to date, accurate listing of online TV and movies.

Scrum Master Wanted

SetJam is looking for a kickass agile Project Manager (“Scrum Master”) to manage our 10 person team in Warsaw.

Who you are

• A hyper-organized scrum master who likes managing agile teams.
• A great communicator and fluent English speaker.
• A current or ex-programmer who understands the web.
• Someone who can explain complex technologies in simple language.
• Someone who can talk intelligently about web products and technologies.
• A natural leader capable of inspiring confidence and teamwork.

What you'll do

• Participate in weekly product meetings with the New York product team.
• Work with our Warsaw-based CTO, Marcin Kaszynski, to scope work and plan iterations.
• Write user-stories, file bugs and tickets, and manage them through weekly releases.
• Lead daily scrum meetings in Warsaw, and participate in cross-functional scrums.
• Lead weekly Sprint Planning meetings and make sure tickets are properly assigned.
• Keep people happy and productive by setting up office furniture, keeping food supplies running, and stopping interruptions.
• Fit in with a close-knit team that likes hanging out, drinking, and having fun together.
• Travel to the US periodically to work with the New York office and meet with customers.
